اشتهرنا نحن العرب في مطلع كل عام بالبراعة والقدرة الفائقة في إطلاق الأوصاف المحددة على كل عام جديد. فهذا عام ..الحسم وذلك عام .. السلم والثالث عام.. التحرك والرابع عام ..التفاهم ونستطيع أن نكمل حتى نصل إلى المائة وصف إن لم نقل إلى الألف. ولكننا لم نقرأ ولو مرة واحدة بأن عاماً أطلق عليه وصف :عام المراجعة وهو الوصف الوحيد بل الإجراء الوحيد الذي تحتاجه هذه الأمة فنحن فعلاً بحاجة إلى وقفة وإلى مراجعة. مراجعة تسأل ببساطة : لماذا ؟ وكيف وصلنا إلى هنا .؟ وهنا.. لست في حاجة إلى شرح فما من أمة ((تجمدت)) أمام مايحدث لها مثلما تجمدت هذه الأمة ومامن أمة صبرت على قدرها وعلى ما يحدث لها _وسيحدث لها _دون أن تتحرك كما صبرت هذه الأمة وما من أمة تمزقت كماتمزقت هذه الأمة. ونكتب مقالات و ((ننتع ))خطبا وننظم أشعاراً نعم أشعاراً_في حالنا ولكننا لم نقف مرة واحدة لنقول : لماذا ..وكيف حدث هذا ؟وماهو الطريق للخروج من هذا الشلل الكاسح ؟ لأنه دون مراجعة ومراجعة شاملة وحقيقية وصريحة سيبقى الحال على ماهو عليه نخاف ..ولا نخيف ! معتدى علينا ..و لا نملك قدرة الرد ! متآمر علينا.. ولا نعرف كيف نصد التآمر! نخاف من الفجر .. لأننا عشقنا الظلام ! ونخاف من الحرية ..لأننا تعودنا على الكبت! مستقبلنا يقرر دون علمنا ومن دون رأينا ودون خوف من ردة فعلنا ! كاتبه المصري : محمود المناوى الوقت:قبيل انفجار الثورة المصرية
