01/01/2010 الصحوة نت : الجزيرة نت قال رئيس الوزراء البريطاني غوردون براون إن اليمن أصبح "محضنا وملاذا آمنا للإرهاب"، وإنه بذلك "يشكل خطرا على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والعالمي".
وكتب براون في الموقع الرسمي لحكومته أن المحاولة الفاشلة لتفجير طائرة أميركية كانت متجهة من هولندا إلى مطار ديترويت في الولايات المتحدة يوم 25 ديسمبر/كانون الأول الماضي مثلت "تهديدا حقيقيا".
وأضاف أن الشاب النيجيري عمر فاروق عبد المطلب المتهم بمحاولة التفجير الفاشلة له صلات مع تنظيم القاعدة وتدرب على العملية في غضون أشهر باليمن، معتبرا أن تنظيم القاعدة بعد أن أضعفه تدخل القوات الدولية في أفغانستان والدعم الأمني الغربي لباكستان وجد ملجأ آمنا في أماكن أخرى مثل اليمن والصومال ودول الساحل
